Barry Horowitz is without question one of the most underrated wrestlers in the world. Barry's 21 year career has proven to be a successful one having been on national television for the WWF and WCW for over 10 of his 19-year professional career. Barry has appeared on WWF Raw, WCW Nitro, WWF Pay-Per-Views, and ESPN.

He began his illustrious drive to success by training with the legendary Malenko family. It is no wonder that he is one of the most technically sound players in the game.

Barry has traveled around the world and has worked in numerous territories. Early on in his career, Barry worked for Vince McMahon, Sr.'s WWWF, which is of course today's WWE.

After his initial WWWF tenure, "Mr. Technical" ventured to the Mid Atlantic region to work for Jim Crockett, Sr. Around this same time, Horowitz also saw action in Puerto Rico and Canada.

Barry next headed to Florida Championship Wrestling. His two year stay in FCW was filled with success. Horowitz defeated Mike Graham during this time to become the Florida Heavyweight Champion. Barry had his share of big name managers during the time including Percy Pringle, a.k.a. Paul Bearer, and Sir Oliver Humperdink.

Barry's journey soon made a stop in Memphis. Using the name of "Stretcher" Jack Hart, Barry was able to obtain both singles and tag team championships. His success did not go unnoticed.

In 1988, Barry headed back to the spotlight of the World Wrestling Federation. During his two year return WWF stint, Barry worked with some of the biggest names in the business. Unfortunately, a neck injury caused Horowitz to take an unwanted vacation that spanned 10 months.

Down, but certainly not out, Barry hit the famous Texas region that once housed the legendary Von Erich family.

A new promotion was formed with some of the brighest up and comers in the world. This promotion was the GWF, Global Wrestling Federation. Barry "The Winner" Horowitz became the company's Light Heavyweight Champion, a title he won from Jerry Lynn.

The GWF wasn't able to survive and folded only a couple of years into operation.

1993 saw Barry become a "knight." At the 1993 WWF Survivor Series, Barry stepped up to the plate filling in for Terry Funk as the Red Knight in one of the show's feature contests. Barry even took the Red Knight gimmick overseas. Barry's greatest WWF victories came during his 1995-1997 tenure with Mr. McMahon's organization. In the summer of 1995, Barry upset Skip, a.k.a. Chris Candido, on WWF Television. The victory prompted Jim Ross to make the now famous call "Horowitz Wins!Horowitz Wins!" Barry would go on to beat Skip at Summer Slam 95. He also formed a formidable tag team with Hakushi.

In 1997, Barry packed up and headed to WCW. Over the course of two years, Barry could be seen giving wrestling lessons to many of WCW's finest. In late 1999, Horowitz left WCW.

"Mr. Technical" is now plying his trade on the independent circuit and is in phenomenal physical condition. He is a legitimate 221 pounds and still has the physique, tan, and look that made him a mainstay in all the top promotions he wrestled. He is comfortable wrestling any length match and loves longer matches. Barry is a team player in the locker room and is excellent working with young wrestlers. A superb ring quarterback, he can have a great match with anyone and can build a star in the ring.
